Bavarian Festival Parade

| The annual Bavarian Festival has been held the second full week in June since 1959 to commemorate the heritage of Frankenmuth's original settlers. Opening the big Parade on Sunday, is the Frankenmuth High School Band dressed in authentic Lederhosen. He parade consists of over 100 entries, including colorful floats, beauty queens, dignitaries, high-stepping marching bands, horses, and of course, clowns to the delight of almost 75,000 viewers. |
