A magnificent 22-foot Zwiebelturm (Onion Tower)
is topped by a 14-foot copper-covered dome
weighing approximately one ton. The tower is
illuminated during the evening and is a striking
landmark for visitors entering Frankenmuth. Onion
Towers frequently appear atop churches and public
buildings throughout Bavaria, Germany. Located
just minutes east of I-75, the Bavarian Inn is noted
for its unique Old-World atmosphere and tradi-
tional foods.
