As viewed from the air, the roadway over the Harbour Bridge turns
left, runs past the Westhaven boat harbour and on into the business
centre of Auckland, seen at the left. Left of centre and near the
background are the prominent buildings of the Auckland Public
Hospital and in the distance, the waters of the Manukau Harbour. In
this one picture then, may be seen the waters of the Waitemata
Harbour on New Zealand's east coast and the Manukau Harbour, a
deep inlet of the west coast.
