ORIGINAL
JOHN KNOX'S HOUSE built possibly 1490 is an
unusually well preserved example of Tudor building and
is said to be the house where the great reformer lived
for a time and died in 1572. Set in the Royal Mile joining
Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse the
street is one of the most historic in the world, one used
by the Stewart Kings and Queens and lived in by many
renowned Scots families, it retains a definable "sense
of the past".
