Nestled between pine trees to the west and
sagebrush to the east, Genoa, Nevada's oldest
town, sits at the foot of the Sierras overlook-
ing the Carson Valley, the garden spot of
Nevada. Established in 1851 as Mormon
Station, it was renamed Genoa in 1855.
