(At the crossing of Interstate 69 and 94) Built by a former U.S. Consul to the Sandwich (now Hawaiian) Islands, this structured is said to resemble the consulate in Honolulu. Originally having a Polynesian Motif when constructed in 1860, it is now a 19th Century Midwest Museum and headquarters of the Marshall Historical Society. The building is listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the historic American Buildings Survey. |
