The "Old Black Bridge", as Frankenmuthers refer
to it, is located on Dehmel Road, one mile west
of downtown Frankenmuth. Bridge spans the
Cass River named after former territorial Governor
of Michigan, Lewis Cass. This steel construction
creates nostalgic foreground to St.
theran Church. Church was named
churches of founding fathers - St.
in Neuendettelsau and Rosstal and
in Nuernberg.
