CAMP DAVIS, located 30 miles north of
Wilmington, and only 5 miles from the Atlan-
tic Ocean, was named for Major General
Richmond P. Davis, native of North Carolina,
who distinguished himself while serving with
the A. E. F. in World War I. This is the home
of the Anti-Aircraft Artillery School.
