General Electric's Appliance Park, the most modern
appliance manufacturing center of the world, is
located ten miles from downtown Louisville,
Kentucky. Of the Park's 1,000 acres, more than
110 are under roof. There is enough paved parking
and two arboretums containing 10,000 shrubs and
trees, help make this unique manufacturing opera-
tion one of Kentucky's outstanding tourist attractions.
Tours for the public leave the Main Gate daily
Monday through Friday at 1:30 p.m.
