opposite the head of South Street Campello has been used for
school purposes for more thau 125 years. The oral school
building on that site having been movedway in 1784! he
present was erected in 1873, an additional woodey building in
1885, (which was afterwards moved away), & brick building in
1893 and a second brick building in 1897, making the school now
one of ninteen rooms with accommodations for 900 scholars and
twenty teachers. Mr. J.I.Rackliffe has been the Principal since
June 1884.
