PRESIDENT'S HOUSE
The site of this palace was formerly occupied by
the city walls and in front of the north entrance
you can still see some of the remains with a watch
tower, preserved as a relic.
This building had been planned for Provincial
Government; but as the works for a president's house
had been discontinued at Prado, arrangements were
made to fit same for its actual use.
It is located near the sea where cool breezes
blow directly upon the beautiful parlors, richly
