DIRECTIONS FOR USE.
To Wash White Clothing.-One tablespoonful of Electra
should be added to each pailful of water intended to be used.
Put in the boiler the finest pieces first (not too many at a time);
boil from 10 to 20 minutes, stirring them frequently, then rinse
THOROUGHLY in two or three waters, and they will dry
white as snow. Stockings, bottoms of skirts, collars, wrist-
bands, &c., should be rubbed slightly in the first rinse water,
but other clothing, table linen, &c., will not require rubbing.
Clothes wash easier if soaked beforehand with a little Electra
in the water. Colored fabrics may be washed in the first rinse
water of the white clothing. For Washing Dishes, Milk
Cans, &c., Electra is the best and most economical
ever placed before the people. Silver, Gold and
Jewelry will look like new when washed with rich
suds; and rubbed dry with Chamois skin or dry flann
