The new $430,000 Terminal Building now under con-
struction at the Charleston Municipal Airport. In addition
to this improvement at the 2,100-acre airport will be the
High Intensity Lighting to be installed on the Instrument
o Landing System to enable planes to land in any type of
weather. This project is now being carried out by the Civil
Aeronautics Administration and the City of Charleston.
The building and airport improvements when completed,
will give Charleston one of the best equipped fields in the
