Back:
The Southwest has many varieties of cacti
peculiar to the Desert region only. It is
strange that all vegetation has thorns as tho
a protection against an enemy. Many sections
have an abundance of brush or small trees,
such as Palo Verde, mesquite, greasewood
and sagebrush-all fortified with thorns.
