From million to million has the demand grown, till our capacity
doubled and trebled, has had to be re-enforced by the estab-
lishment of a factory in New York, to supply the metropolis
and vicinity with the dainty, luxurious perfection of CROSS
CUT CIGARETTES,
Our present capacity is 600 thousand per day at our Durham fac-
tory, and 300 thousand per day at our New York factory; a
grand total of 900,000 per day, and yet we cannot supply the
demand.
This result is unparalelled in the history of Cigarette manufactur-
ing, and we attribute the success of CROSS CUT CIGARETTES
solely to the fact that we watch the sensitive cröp, from the
planting in Spring, till the harvest, and from its choicest and
brightest leaf is our selection made, and our warehouses and
factory (which contain 105,000 square feet of floor room)
filled with the mellow, rich and rare leaf, which only the
country in the vicinity of our Durham factory can produce.
Born and raised, where the leaf is grown, we have made its treat-
ment and manufacture a study, and to-day we do not hesitate
to say, that CROSS CUT CIGARETTES are the finest, purest, and
very best that can be made regardless of price.
