MARIN VETERANS' MEMORIAL BUILDING looms
beside lagoon as part of the Marin County Civic Cen-
ter complex just off Highway 101, twenty miles north
of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Designed by Taliesin Associated Architects of the
Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, the theater-exhibi-
tion hall features a massive divider wall that moves.
Turquoise-carpeted grandstand sections supplement
the permanent seats in a unique engineering feat where
chair arms fold up so that 1188 extra seats can be com-
pressed into a mere 8' 6" bank that rolls away.
