SAN DIEGO STADIUM-The new, beautiful stadium in San Diego's famous
Mission Valley is the home of the San Diego Chargers five-time Western
Division champions in the American Football League. The $28,000,000 edifice
will seat 50,000. The parking lot will accommodate 15,000 cars.
Dear Charger Fan:
It won't be long before you and all of us
in San Diego enter a great, new sports era.
That wonderful day will come on Sunday,
August 20th when the Chargers help dedicate
San Diego Stadium.
We're proud of the part the Chargers
have played in San Diego and we thank you
for being with us in the past. As great
as those years were, we feel that the future
looms even brighter for all of us.
It is our aim to continue to present pro
football at its best to the world's greatest
football fans.
