G-19 GREETINGS FROM
ALAMOGORDO, NEW MEXICO
A beautiful little city situated in a very
romantic section of the Old West. It has gone
down in history with the Lincoln Co. cattle
wars, the escapades of the nearby Apache
Indians and the terrifying experiences of the
early Spanish settlers and cowboys with high-
way robbers and cattle rustlers, who would
hide out in the then inaccessible White Sands
country. Now, Alamogordo is known as the
gateway to the Great White Sands and the
numerous charming mountain resorts within
easy reach, which attract thousands of visitors
yearly to enjoy the ideal climate.
