The State of Texas is not only the largest
but the most colorful in the U. S. Bordering
on Mexico there was constant strife between
the two nations. The Cavalcade of Texas is
picturesque and colorful. Their bloody wars
with Indians and Mexicans mark some of the
outstanding struggles for Independence and
existence in America. To the Texas Rangers
and hardy citizens of the state go the credit
for what may be called a Nation within a
