INTERIOR OF "MORMON' TABERNACLE
The Tabernacle has a seating capacity of
8,000. It was built to accommodate the great
gatherings of the "Mormon" people at their
annual and semi-annual conferences. The
acoustic properties are exceptionally fine, the
ticking of an ordinary clock being distinctly
audible in all parts. One of the unique fea-
tures of the building is the great organ. It
has been rebuilt and enlarged from time to
time. It is widely known for its excellent
tonal qualities. A free organ recital is given
daily for Salt Lake City visitors.
