Sentinel at the circle since 1885, the old main
building was originally the home of all the col-
lege's activities. Today it is used for administra-
tive offices and classrooms. Case Institute was
founded in 1880 by Leonard Case, Jr. It is the
oldest technical college west of the Allegheny
Mountains.
