The Chimpanzee Show has been a feature at the
St. Louis Zoo since 1925, and this arena, dedi-
cated May 22, 1942, is the third it has occupied.
Shown here on the barless stage, the first of its
kind, are some of the performers with a chimp-
sized covered wagon, stagecoach and buckboard,
and Trainer Mike Kostial.
