How We Made Our Cow
We needed a cow for our farm.
We asked the fourth grade
to help us.
We brought a big box for the body
of the cow.
We brought an oatmeal carton
for her head.
We used sticks for her legs.
We used an old jumping rope
for her tail.
Four fourth grade girls helped
us put on the papier-mâche.
We will paint our cow black
and white.
