| Pure Sand Mountain sorghum has been produced by the Cobb family for over 65 years. The present plant is owned and operated by V. T. Cobb. It is located between Boaz and Albertville, Alabama, on U.S. Highway 431 atop Sand Mountain, which has elevation approximately 1,100 feet with the soil especially adopted to sorghum production and is in the most densely populated rural area in the U.S.A.
