| Opened December 21, 1964 the new hospital is an extension of work begun in Selma in 1937 by the Society of St. Edmund with the assistance of eh sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester, New York. The facilities include a 69-bed general hospital, 26-bed skilled nursing home and a school of practical nursing. |
