A UNITED WAY Social agency providing case-
work and groupwork
and cultural
activities for persons of foreign birth or back-
ground. The staff of the Institute speaks many
languages and has a special understanding of
peoples from many countries. These services
help newcomers to the Los Angeles area better
understand the American way of life, and to
make necessary adjustments. The group activities
promote an appreciation of the cultures of all
peoples.
