SAN ANTONIO RIVER. This view
shows the river from the Mill Bridge in the
heart of the City. The Court House showing
close at hand. For 13 miles the river winds
and winds within the city limits. It is spanned
by 17 steel bridges. The first permanent
settlement on this river was near its head at
San Antonio in 1692.
