Robert Young
(M-G-M)
Born: Chicago, Illinois, February 22nd.
Educated: Public Schools in Seattle and Los Angeles,
Lincoln High School, Los Angeles.
Hobbies: Motoring and Photography.
Early Experience: Robert Young held a wide variety.
of jobs before settling down to a career of acting.
He was a pharmacy clerk, building and loan sales-
man, reporter, and bank clerk before joining the
Moroni Olsen Players to tour the Pacific Coast. He
played at the Little Theatre at Pasadena, California,
for four-and-a-half years, and was brought to the
attention of an M-G-M scout. He made his first
screen appearance in "The Lullaby" in 1931. His
more recent pictures include "I Met Him in Paris,"
"Josette,"
"Rich Man, Poor Girl," and
'Honolulu."
