"BURL ROOM," BIG TREES PARK GIFT SHOP

Redwood burl, a knobby growth which forms on the trunks
and roots of Redwood trees, is highly prized for its beautiful
figuration and grain pattern. On display here are a number
of unusual articles made of burl, including an inlaid banquet
table and a giant punch bowl.
