This legendary figure was built in 1960 to
commemorate the Manistique Centennial . 1860
to 1960. Located on the corner of Deer St. and
Hwy. U.S. 2- it is constructed of 3/4 inch
plywood, 45 ft. high, 14 ft. wide, weight
2 tons.
