Given entirely by alumni and friends of
Princeton, the University Chapel contains
more than 1,000 memorials in the form of por-
tals, sculptures, pulpits, doors, organ, choir,
pews and stained glass. The cornerstone was
laid in 1925, fire having destroyed the Mar-
quand Chapel five years previously. The
windows of the Chapel portray the Life,
Teachings and Influence of Christ.
