The Graduate College, residential feature
of the Princeton Graduate School, was the
first building in this country to be devoted
to graduate-student residence. Adjoining its
main gate is the 173-foot Cleveland Tower
erected by public subscription as a memorial
to President Cleveland, a resident of Princeton
and a Trustee of the University, and dedi-
cated, as was the Graduate College, in 1913.
In the tower is hung the Class of 1892 Memo-
rial Carillon.
