PRINCETON, N. J.-A copy of the Turnbull Sun Dial
constructed in 1551 at Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
It was presented by Sir William Mather, recipient of an
honorary degree in 1905, to "symbolize the connection
not only between Oxford and Princeton, but between
Great Britain and America."
