OBSERVATORY
Butler University, Indianapolis, Ind.
This is the most distinct, unique and beautiful building
on the 246 acre campus. Completed in 1954 it holds a
38 inch telescope, the largest in Indiana. Included is a
modern planetarium, which artificially reproduces the
heavens. It too, is open to the public at certain hours.
