CABOT'S OLD INDIAN PUEBLO

Cabot Yerxa's Old Indian Pueblo is one of the
most fantastic structures in Southern California.
Using only his hands, the earth and cast off
material he erected this 35 room Hopi structure
over a 20 year span. Since Cabot's death in
1965 the monument has been preserved and
kept open to the public by Landmark Conserva-
tors, a non-profit corporation devoted to restor-
ing, supporting and preserving landmarks for
American heritage.
