This is the University Center at Tulane University, the
home-away-from-home of Tulane and Newcomb College
students. Built in 1959, this $2,650,000 modern structure
houses a large cafeteria, snack bar, book store, post-
office, student activity and organization offices, swim-
ming pool, meeting and dance rooms, lounges, a faculty
ining club, barber shop, bowling alleys, and other
recreational facilities.
