Birdseye view of St. Albans Bay,: St. Albans Vt. from
1807 to 1814 St. Albans was the headquarters of a large
gang of smugglers. A St. Albans merchant financed
them and a boat, the "Black Snake" smuggled goods to
St. Albans Bay and Canada.
