DOOLITTLE UNIVERSALIST HOME
FOR AGED PERSONS, INC.
Location: Foxborough, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
Twenty-five miles from Boston.
Founded by Massachusetts Universalist Convention, 1915.
Donor of house and grounds, Miss Sarah B. Doolittle,
in memory of her parents.
Administered by board of nine Trustees, elected annually.
Supported by annual contributions of one dollar, entitling
each contributor to membership in the Corporation for one
year; sustaining membership, ten dollars; life membership,
one hundred dollars; annual offerings from churches and
societies connected with churches in any amount; gifts of
money or other values available for use at the Home; lega-
cies; collections, made at the public anniversaries held at
Foxborough in June of each year.
Admission granted to men and women, married or single,
who are not under sixty-five years of age, and who have no
other available home.
Preference is naturally for Universalists, as this institution
is supported almost wholly by Universalists.
Entrance fee, four hundred dollars. Since entrants are guar-
teed shelter and support for the balance of their lives, other
funds or properties in their possession must be placed at the
disposal of the Trustees of the Home.
Health of applicants must be normal, considering age, and
must be so judged by the Physician of the Home after due
examination.
