NANA Regional Corporation's Multi-Purpose Buil-
ding. This strikingly modern building, completed in
1977, houses the following NANA activities -
Kotzebue Headquarters of the NANA Regional
Corporation, NANA Museum of the Arctic, the
Museum Gift Shop, Tupik Building Supply and also
Jade Mountain Products, where the jade from Jade
Mountain is processed by local Eskimo artists into a
wide variety of finished articles.
This village is in the
Ritic cercle, but not so
Cald as one would expect.
The worst part is 24 hours
of daylight, I can't get
to sleep even with a
sleeping pill. It has
been an interesting
trip so far.
