CLARK GABLE AND JOAN CRAWFORD. (M.G.M.)
The successful Gable and Crawford alliance of "Dancing Lady"
is seen again in "Forsaking All Others." Clark Gable was
born February 1st, 1901, in Cadiz, Ohio. Worked in the oil
fields and as a lumber jack before joining the stage. Rose to
film fame within a couple of years following his appearance
with Norma Shearer in "A Free Soul." Joan Crawford, born
March 23rd, 1904, at San Antonio, Texas, started as a dancer
and worked up from the extra ranks to film stardom.
