As" Queen Christina." Greta Garbo, whose real name is Greta
Gustafson, made her first film as an anonymous hat model
in an advertising film. She attracted the attention of Mauritz
Stiller, Sweden's most famous director, who changed her name to
Garbo, and by her performance in "The Atonement of Gosta
Berling" gained for both of them a Hollywood contract.
